  • Nifty
    • Nifty opened gap up and made strong gains from there. After a six day consolidation, Nifty broke out today and gained 225 points to close at 16931.
    • Making a strong bullish candle on the daily chart, Nifty showed strong signs of growth.

      • Second support at 16760
    • Resistance 
      • First Resistance at 16950
      • Second resistance at 17000
  • Bank Nifty
    • Bank Nifty opened gap up and made strong gains from there. Made strong gains of 719 points to close at 36347.
    • Making a strong bullish candle on the daily chart, Bank Nifty has after some time shown strength, though it is at a critical resistance of 36300.
    • Important to see that it breaks out from here or consolidates.

      • Second support at 35720

      • First resistance at 36300
      • Second resistance at 36540
  • FII today after a long time bought for 1200Cr and DII also bought for 688 Cr. A good 1900 Cr of buying on the institutional side.
  • On the FnO side also FII were bullish with a good 5700 long creation and unwinding of 730 shorts.
  • Global markets were trading strong after a strong close by US yesterday. Asian markets were green today and Europe also strong. US trading strong as of now.
  • Dollar index and US yields are well in control.
  • On the options front, Nifty indicates a support of 16700 and BankNifty indicates a trading range of 36000-37000.

1. FII were net buyers for 1202 Cr today, while DII were buyers for 688 Cr. A net buying of 1890 Cr from the institutional side.

2. FII's created 5740 longs and unwound 730 shorts on the index futures

3. On the option front FII  sold 33898 calls and   sold 77065 puts. They also bought 47475 calls and  bought 85375 Puts.

4. For next week expiry, Nifty has the highest OI for PE at 16700 followed by 16800 and highest OI for CE is at 17000 followed by 16900. Highest Put writing was seen at 16800 and highest call writing was seen at 16900-17200 levels.

5. For the next week expiry, Bank Nifty has the highest OI for PE at 36000 followed by 35500 and highest OI for CE is at 37000 followed by 37500. Highest Put writing was seen at 36000 and highest call writing was seen at 37000 levels. 

6. Asian markets closed in green and Europe also closed in green

7. US trading strong with Nasdaq strong and Dow is flat.

8. The breadth of the market was extremely strong today.

9. Nifty opened at 16775 and made an intra day high of 16951 and a low of 16764 before closing at 16931 .The range of Nifty for the day was 187 points.

10. Bank Nifty opened at 35781 and made an intra day high of 36398 and a low of 35721 before closing at 36347 .The range of Nifty for the day was 677 points.

11. US Dollar Index is trading at 92.698

12. Except IT Almost all sectors closed in green on Friday

13. India VIX reduced to 13.32

14. US 10Y yields are at 1.290

15. Nifty futures saw long buildup

16. Bank Nifty saw long buildup

Starting weak, the month of October saw decent gains and closed almost at month highs. Market was still strong and on the first day of the current series also, the indices were relatively strong.  #Nifty made 4 consecutive bullish candles on the daily chart. #BankNifty made a bearish candle after 3 bullish candles, however still made a higher high and a higher low. Levels : Both #Nifty and #BankNifty are in a range of 17650 to 17900 and 39825 to 41550 respectively. In this range #BankNifty saw some profit booking on Friday, while #Nifty is yet to test the upper level. I expected #Nifty to test 17900 on Friday, however this did not happen. A net buying of 625 Cr from the institutional side. 2. FII's created 1390 longs and unwound 17862 shorts on the index futures 3. On the option front FII  unwound 7656 short calls and   unwound 28440 short puts. They also closed 34543 long calls and  closed 96232 long Puts. 4.
