  • FII came back buying in the cash market with a buying of 2800 Crs. DII also bought for 1250 Crs. All this forced some bears at lower levels to run for cover on Nifty. 
  • Bank Nifty though saw a good movement today and a buildup on futures.
  • Though Nifty is still within the larger range of 14862 and 15273. A breakout is still to be seen out of this range.
  • Bank Nifty is operating within 34658 and 37232. A breakout is yet to be seen.
  • Options OI is showing a support at 15000 on Nifty today. on the upside the range has widened to 15350. 
  • Bank Nifty is seeing these levels at 35500 and 36800.
  • With both Nasdaq and Dow trading strong. Dollar index and yields easing out today. Tomorrow's opening can be expected to be gap up. Though it is important to see, where US closes today.
  • Somehow, we are just following cues from US. Bank Nifty has shown higher strenght today.
  • Wider market has not participated today. It was just banking and IT that led the moves.
  • DOW is currently trading near its ATH, lets see if that is taken out. We may get this input only by tomorrow morning.
  • With VIX coming down, risk of a big downside seems to be mitigated a bit.

1. FII were net buyers for 2801 Cr today, while DII were buyers for 1250 Cr. A net buying of 4051 Cr from the institutional side.

2. FII's created 2464 longs and unwound 14126 shorts on the indices

3. On the option front FII  sold 26429 calls and   sold 4180 puts. They also bought 52830 calls and  bought 13533 Puts.

4. For next week expiry, Nifty has the highest OI for PE at 15000 followed by 14500 and highest OI for CE is at 15500 followed by 15100. Highest Put writing was seen at 15000 and highest call writing was seen at 15350 levels.

5. For the next week expiry, Bank Nifty has the highest OI for PE at 35000 followed by 34500 and highest OI for CE is at 37000 followed by 36000. Highest Put writing was seen at 35500 and highest call writing was seen at 36800 levels. 

6. Asian markets closed mixed today and European markets closed in green

7. US markets are trading strong. Nasdaq has made a comeback and is 3.5% up. Dow is also trading 1% up.

8. The breadth of the market was Neutral today on large caps and negative on small caps.

9. Nifty opened at 15049 and made an intra day high of 15126 and a low of 14925 before closing at 15098 .The range of Nifty for the day was 201 points.

10. Bank Nifty opened at 35705 and made an intra day high of 36077 and a low of 35544 before closing at 35865 .The range of Nifty for the day was 533 points.

11. UD Dollar Index is trading at 92.078

12. Banking and IT moved tha market today. Else the breadth was generally muted.

13. India VIX eased to 22.5

14. US 10Y yields are at 1.556

15. Nifty futures saw a short covering. OI down by 5% and index up by 1.2%

16. Bank Nifty saw a long buildp. OI up 3.75% and index up by 1.75%

Starting weak, the month of October saw decent gains and closed almost at month highs. Market was still strong and on the first day of the current series also, the indices were relatively strong.  #Nifty made 4 consecutive bullish candles on the daily chart. #BankNifty made a bearish candle after 3 bullish candles, however still made a higher high and a higher low. Levels : Both #Nifty and #BankNifty are in a range of 17650 to 17900 and 39825 to 41550 respectively. A net buying of 625 Cr from the institutional side. 2. FII's created 1390 longs and unwound 17862 shorts on the index futures 3.
