  • Asian markets are running in pressure,  With close to half a percent down. 
  • SGX is 30 pts down. Maybe indicating a moderate start for our markets. 
  • Important is to guage the mood after first hour of trading. 
  • The runup on friday was primarily driven because of the intervention from DII's.

27th January' 2023 (Evening)  --  | Written at 1.30 PM on 29th January' 2023  | #Nifty and many other stocks, specially the banking stocks got severe beating on Friday. The #HindenburgReport created havoc on the #Adani shares. The banking stocks followed as there were concerns related to high leverage of the #Adani group and exposure these banks have towards them. #BankNifty was the first one to get screwed. #SBIN and #ICICIBank were the ones that got hit badly. While #HDFCBank, #KotakBank also lost.  #Nifty made a strong bearish candle on the daily chart. This led to it breaching some important levels on #Nifty. 17725 was one such level and in fact at one point, #Nifty also breached 17500.  While #Nifty did make some recovery in the last hour or so, i feel it is not out of clouds.  I somehow have a hunch that #Nifty lost some important levels due to #BankNifty (Of course) and valuations. 30th Jun' 2020 (Morning) US closed in green yesterday.  Asian markets are following this morning.  SGX indicates a 70point green start for our markets.  If the start is not sold out, expect a bit of up move. Though, expect volatility.  As mentioned yesterday night, critical levels to be watched and crossed for short covering.

27th July'2021 (Evening) -- | Written at 11.00 PM | Indices opened positive today, made small gains but then started sliding and closed at the low end of the trading range of the day. Both indices made bearish candles on a daily chart. This formation after two days of bearish uncertain candles is actually important indication. Nifty breached the Friday low. However, Bank Nifty still stands above and at least for now seems stronger than Nifty. The weakness in Nifty was particularly driven by Nifty Pharma and Reliance. Nifty Pharma was hit specifically by Dr Reddy due to poor results and it actually hit the lower circuit. Other Pharma stocks also took a hit because of this. The global cues were also throughout the day and there was nothing that the bulls could hold on to. US futures was down, specially Nasdaq due to the China rout on technology stocks, Asian stocks were mostly down and later in the day Europe was mostly red. FII continued to sell as usual.
